Quick French Speaking (GCSE): Read Aloud, Roleplay, Photo Task - episode 7

EPISODE 7

Bonjour et bienvenue sur Lingogite podcast — a short, focused episode to help you practise French speaking for GCSE (AQA & Pearson Edexcel).

In about 10 minutes you'll work through three tasks: a read-aloud with pronunciation tips, a Career roleplay with useful phrases and a photo description with questions.

The episode includes model answers, spontaneous prompts and vocabulary to build accuracy, fluency and confidence for exam-style speaking tasks.

 

Task 1 - Read Aloud 

Plus tard, je ne veux pas me marier.

J’espère trouver un travail très utile avec un bon salaire.

Il est important d’avoir une carrière intéressante pour être heureux.

Après avoir fini mes études, je chercherai un emploi dans le monde des affaires.

Mes amis veulent être influenceurs mais à mon avis, ce n’est pas une bonne décision.

 

Task 2 - Role-Play

You will need to answer with a sentence.

You are talking to a French friend. You should address your friend as TU

 

1) Describe the type of career you would like to have (one thing and one reason)

2) Say what you want to do after finishing secondary school (one thing and one reason)

3) Ask your friend about university

4) Give your opinion about working abroad

5) Say what languages you can speak (give two details)

 

Task 3 – Photo
